Terms of use
Terms
These terms cover a free, public educational publication with no reader accounts, payments, advertising, or community submissions.
Effective date:
Agreement with the operator
These Terms are an agreement between you and NISATSU LLC, the operator of Nisatsu Journal. By using the Journal, you agree to these Terms.
Using the Journal
You may read, link to, quote, and cite the Journal in ways permitted by applicable law. Do not disrupt the service, probe protected areas without authorization, evade technical safeguards, misrepresent Journal material as your own, or use automated access in a way that degrades access for others.
Search indexing and ordinary research access are welcome. Large-scale copying, republication, or creation of a substitute collection requires permission unless applicable law allows it.
Educational material and accuracy
Lessons are general Japanese-language education, not individualized professional advice. Language changes by context, region, register, and speaker. The Journal aims for accurate, natural explanations but cannot promise that every lesson is complete, error-free, or suitable for a specific exam, school, workplace, or conversation.
Use your judgment and check important language with an appropriate teacher, editor, or primary reference. No fluency, score, or learning outcome is guaranteed. As far as applicable law permits, the site and lessons are provided as available without warranties.
Ownership, sources, and trademarks
Original Journal text, examples, illustrations, presentation, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property law unless a page states otherwise. Third-party names, marks, and referenced materials remain the property of their respective owners.
A citation or link does not transfer ownership and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Source and license disclosures appear on the Sources page. JLPT level navigation is not an official JLPT syllabus or endorsement.
Copyright concerns
Send a copyright concern to contact@nisatsu.com. Please identify the copyrighted work, the Journal URL and material at issue, why you believe the use is unauthorized, and how to contact you.
Alex is the only publisher. The Journal does not accept reader submissions, uploads, comments, forums, or user-controlled links. Copyright concerns about Journal-published material are reviewed through the contact path above.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of the Journal must be brought in a state court located in Maricopa County, Arizonaor in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and each party consents to those courts' jurisdiction and venue.
This section does not limit any consumer protection, statutory right, or forum that applicable law does not permit these Terms to waive.
Availability and changes
Lessons may be corrected, withdrawn, reorganized, or removed, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or security. Material changes to these Terms will be posted here with a new effective date.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to contact@nisatsu.com.
