What approval means
A source appears here only after its owner, URL, license or permission terms, permitted fields, required attribution, and refresh policy have been reviewed. An accessible page is not automatically licensed for ingestion.
Source lists are research inputs. Journal explanations and example sentences are written independently rather than copied or lightly reworded from a third party.
JLPT levels and official status
The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test is administered by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. Nisatsu Journal is not affiliated with or endorsed by either organization.
Level labels on the Journal are navigation aids based on community-reconstructed mappings. They are not official JLPT lesson lists, do not reproduce official test materials, and do not promise complete exam coverage. Official information is available from the JLPT website.
